5.27.13

Hello to..

new beginnings+chapters in life.

time flies. people age. people come and go.

Congrats to the new beautiful bride, and dear sis.

Living with her the past 5 years, I've come to truly see and learn the fruits of the Spirit -love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control

Being the youngest, although I like to be independent, has its perks. aka. to be cared for.

thankful for the dual cleaning-laundry, times I came home late/famished from work with dinner all made/set, worried txts and calls, being my barista, watching scary shows together, and always just being there.

Changes in life are always bittersweet, but am excited for all that's to come.

Ecclesiastes

Reading t h r o u g h Ecclesiastes.
Good reminder to seek the eternal instead of the ephemeral.

For.. theres no point in slaving away, working, trying to succeed.
For in the end we all have the same fate.
No one will remember you or what you did. No one will care.

So...

Love the Lord with all your heart and soul.
Share the good news, see Him change lives.
For the Holy Spirit is alive and living.
He is the same today, yesterday, and a bajillion years ago.

We live not by sight, but by faith.
He gives us hope even when all else seems to be failing.
The more you seek, the more you will find, and the more you will love.

Christianity affirms that Jesus severed the link between suffering and deserving once for all on Calvary. God put the ledgers away and settled the accounts. The good news of the gospel is NOT that good people get good stuff. It's not that life is cyclical and that "what comes around goes around." Rather, it's that the bad get the best, the worst inherit the wealth, and the slave becomes a son (Rom.5:8).
